Why an OVC isn't a small TVC
Broadcast is watched with sound and a captive audience for the full length. A feed is scrolled with sound off, on a vertical screen, by someone who will move on in the first two seconds if nothing holds them. That changes the brief at the script stage, not just in the edit: the hook has to work as pure image and caption, the framing has to survive a 9:16 crop without losing the product, and the pacing has to earn each second of continued attention rather than assume it. Directing for feed-native delivery from the outset avoids the common failure of shooting a TVC and hoping a vertical crop rescues it afterward.
